The future is now!
Some of South Africa’s top business minds, as well as four internationally recognized speakers, will visit Bloemfontein in August 2019 to share their knowledge with human resource management teams from across the country. The focus of the congress is on the workforce of the future and trendy people management practices.
On 21 and 22 August 2019, the Peritum Agri Institute will host the Peritum Agri-HR Summit in the city. High on the agenda are themes such as effective ways to drive millennials in the workplace; intelligent remuneration for the future in agriculture and global trends in training and development – a theme highlighted powerfully by a speaker from the AERES University in Europe, international program partner of the Peritum Agri Institute.
Business leaders in the industry who will be speaking will also focus on how to attract new talent and become ‘talent-irresistible’, the importance of HR Intel and also the cultivation of leaders and a particular leadership culture. On the second day of the congress, a dynamic program for farm leaders and farmers will be launched.
Well-known speakers at the summit include Warwick Bloom, Jahni de Villiers, Wandile Sihlobo and Dr. Adri Drotskie, as well as internationally acclaimed guest speakers, Graeme Codrington, Aamir Suleman, Nicky Sheridan and Tim Menger.
The summit provides an opportunity to involve managers, businesses and institutions in the agri-value chain in designing the future of Human Resource Management in agriculture. Farmers and farm managers, business people and HR leaders in all agricultural-related businesses, agricultural associations and societies, commodity organisations, government departments and the financial sector will undoubtedly benefit.
