It is essential that all store staff, including back-ups, are fully trained in the functionalities of the inventory management system and the strategies on supplies policy, procedures, ensuring clear definitions of the limits within which the function operates, and conveying authority to act within these limits.

Order and Supply Function

Purchasing, ordering, and storing are essential components for any store to work efficiently. To have a more efficient operation within the organisation, stock controllers must build relationships, as it will not only enhance delivery to the customer but will also ensure that equipment is not bought while other stock rooms have equipment on hand (sourcing).
