One of the most important skills of a student/learner is to be able to do research. In this Learning Unit, we will cover the basic steps when doing research.
The success of a research project starts with proper planning. To be able to do the planning, draw up a skeleton of your research process, and fill in the steps for each main point.
The skeleton should include the following steps:
- Choose a topic
- Access/research resources for background study
- Decide on research method
- Gather information/ do research
- Summarise information in a report
