What is a Contact Pattern?

Your job as an Operator revolves around calls from customers. These calls are usually referred to as customer contacts. Some facts must be obtained and information must be discussed during these contacts. Contact criteria are a “checklist” of all the “must do” things in common types of contacts. This checklist helps you learn and remember all the details for which you are responsible.

By using the contact pattern, you will enhance quality service and maintain uniformity in the standard of service. You will be able to get facts quickly from the customer and thus add to the customer’s perception of the Company as a provider of quality service. You, as the operator, are ensuring this by adhering to the contact pattern.
