The complainant must pursue the following objectives to effectively fulfil his/her role:
- Prove that the employee committed the transgression.
- Gather evidence, compile a report, and draft the charge sheet if applicable.
- Ensure that the notice is served/delivered to the employee.
- Ensure that the hearing commences timeously.
- Arrange the logistics/availability of room; no disturbances, privacy, and relevant parties to the proceedings.
