Maintenance of Buffer Bins/Hoppers

Hopper and buffer bins require minimum maintenance, provided they have been fabricated from the right gauge of metal sheet. The following should be checked, inspected, serviced, repaired or replaced to ensure trouble free operation:
- Sidewalls, especially, wear on the slanting sides of the bin.
- Air escape vents – clears cloth filter or adjust butterfly valves.
- The level control sensor’s performance.
