Animal production increased by 1,0%, mainly as a result of increases in the production of poultry (poultry meat and eggs) and milk for 2018/19. The production of poultry meat increased by 71 848 tonnes (4,2%) and eggs by 57 611 tonnes (11,2%), as compared to 2017/18. The production of milk increased by 79 653 litres (2,2%) in comparison to the previous season.
